Sanders was a four-year starter at shortstop and is one of the most productive hitters in program history, despite being listed at 5-foot-8, 175 pounds. His impressive senior season helped put him on the radar and he combined those analytics with an intriguing skillset. He has exceptional feel for the barrel and has good on-base skills to go with above-average speed. Sanders doesn’t have standout defensive tools and will probably end up at second base in pro ball.
