Marget is a huge lefthanded hitter and first baseman with a 6-foot-5, 239-pound frame. Marget has solid pull-side power, but he has never been a huge home run hitter in his three seasons with Tulane. He slashed .327/.430/.500 in 57 games in 2024 with nine home runs and 12 doubles and instead makes a ton of contact and manages the zone well. He has a career 14.1% strikeout rate compared to an 11.9% walk rate, though he is a bit more aggressive than he should be out of the zone and simply has done a nice job putting the barrel on the ball to make tons of contact. He’s a well below-average runner who will probably be limited to first base and doesn’t have much wood back track record either.
