Craig took a big step forward as a redshirt sophomore, going 6-2, 2.14 and ranking second in the Missouri Valley Conference in strikeouts behind likely first-rounder Kyle Freeland. Craig has good size at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds and can pitch to both sides of the plate with his 90-91 mph fastball. He throws a changeup and fringy curveball, and the addition of a cut fastball gave him a secondary pitch he could throw for a strike. Craig had a fractured elbow last year after being hit by a line drive, prompting him to take a medical redshirt.
