Armed with a physically imposing 6-foot-3, 225-pound frame and two advanced offerings, Myers posted a solid senior season at Longwood. As a junior, Myers transitioned from the bullpen into the Lancers' bullpen, and he had an outstanding season, posting an ERA under two. As a senior, Myers walked batters at a slightly higher rate and his ERA jumped by nearly two runs. Myers pitches mostly at 88-91 mph, and has a good deal of arm-side run to his fastball, making him difficult to square up when his command is on. His best secondary pitch is his low 80s changeup, which some scouts project as a plus pitch. The pitch tumbles and fades as it enters the zone, generating poor contact and swings and misses with consistency. Myers will need to work on developing his breaking stuff if he's going to make it as a starter, but he has the chance to develop into a back-of-the-rotation arm or solid middle reliever.
