Organization Prospect Rankings
A hard worker with outstanding makeup, Mohr is a self-made prospect. Released by the Indians after three marginal seasons, he's now coming off a dream season in which he led the organization in hits, doubles and total bases (293). Prior to 2001 he wasn't even on the map, but he won the Eastern League batting crown and the Twins couldn't resist calling him up in late August. Mohr is strong with power to the gaps and occasional over-the-fence pop. He has an average, accurate arm and is an aggressive runner. Mohr profiles as a reserve outfielder but will compete for Minnesota's right-field job in spring training.
