Colorado Rockies

Josh Fuentes ended a two-game hitless skid with a 2-for-5 effort in the team’s extra-innings win over the Giants. The 27-year-old is hitting .321 with two home runs and 15 RBIs in 84 at-bats.

Detroit Tigers

Willi Castro hit his sixth home run, a two-run shot, and added two more hits, scored three times and drove in three runs in the team’s loss to the Royals. The 23-year-old shortstop/third baseman has been one of the best rookies in baseball, with a .350/.383/.561 slash line, six home runs and 23 RBIs in 34 games.
