2020 MLB Top 100 Prospects Update Featuring 12 New Draft Picks

With the 2020 MLB Draft in the rearview, Baseball America has updated its Top 100 — the first such update in an unusual year — to include recent draft picks. 

Both Spencer Torkelson (Tigers) and Austin Martin (Blue Jays) immediately join some of the biggest names in the minors. 

Typically, we wait for the conclusion of the August signing deadline before adding recent draft picks. But this year, Baseball America is breaking from tradition to rank unsigned draft picks among our Top 100 Prospects.

Our ranking is subjected to change in the event a 2020 draft pick does not sign (the deadline is Aug. 1) or is determined to be seriously injured before he signs. We decided to withhold players’ ETAs because of the unusual nature of player development season.
