MacKenzie Gore, Heliot Ramos Highlight California League All-Star Rosters

The California League announced the rosters for its annual All-Star Game on Friday, June 7.
Lake Elsinore (Padres) lefthander MacKenzie Gore, the top pitching prospect in baseball, headlines the South Division roster. He will be joined by Rockies’ 2018 first-round pick Ryan Rolison (Lancaster), Inland Empire (Angels) center fielder Torii Hunter Jr., the son of Gold Glove-winning center fielder Torii Hunter, and Rancho Cucamonga (Dodgers) shortstop Jeter Downs in leading the South team.
San Jose (Giants) outfielder Heliot Ramos headlines the North Division roster. San Francisco’s No. 3 prospect will be joined by Stockton (Athletics) outfielder Lazaro Armenteros, Stockton (Athletics) shortstop Nick Allen(^) and Modesto (Mariners) catcher Cal Raleigh.
The California League All-Star Game is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18 at San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino, Calif., home of the Inland Empire 66ers. First pitch is 7:05 pm PT. The game will be preceded by a home run derby.
The North Division holds a 2-0 lead over the South after the game moved to its North versus South format in 2017.
