SEE IT: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Crushes A Double
DUNEDIN, Fla.—Vladimir Guerrero Jr. bears striking resemblance to his father, Vladimir Guerrero, the nine-time all-star and 2004 MVP. He also crushes baseballs just like his father.
On Thursday against Yankees prospects at his home complex in Dunedin, Fla., the newly 18-year-old top Blue Jays prospect turned around a 96 mph fastball from Yankees No. 9 prospect Albert Abreu and hit a ringing double to dead center field.
Guerrero Jr. hit .271/.359/.449 with eight home runs and 46 RBIs last season with Rookie-level Bluefield in the Appalachian League.
