ESPN To Carry Bonanza Of College Baseball

ESPN announced Thursday it will broadcast more than 900 college baseball games on its family of networks this season. ESPN3 alone will carry more than 450 games.

The entire NCAA Tournament will again be shown on ESPN. During the regular season, ESPN will do a good job of broadcasting games from the top ranked teams, and most steams in the Top 25 will be shown several times. More than 40 of top-ranked Florida’s games will be broadcast.

The slate of games on ESPN2 and ESPNU will be anchored by ACC Mondays and SEC Thursdays, when one of the networks will carry a matchup from the two conferences throughout the season. ACC Mondays begins April 4 with Louisville hosting Virginia Tech. SEC Thursdays begin March 31 with South Carolina visiting Vanderbilt. The SEC Network schedule is here. Longhorn Network telecast schedule can be found here.

The schedule also includes many games from lower-profile teams. ESPN will carry the tournament championship games from 11 conferences, ranging in size from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Southeastern Conference to Horizon League and the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
