College Top 25 (March 7)
After a perfect 5-0 week against Central Florida and Dartmouth, Florida retains its spot at the top of the Baseball America Top 25 rankings, powered by Louisville Slugger.
The remainder of the poll remains largely the same after all of the top 18 teams had winning weekends. There was some shuffling in the top 10, as Virginia dropped two spots after a difficult weekend at home against Monmouth. That changed allowed surging Texas Christian and California to move up, with the Golden Bears coming off a four-game sweep at Texas.
In the back end of the poll, North Carolina State moved up to No. 17 on the strength of a seven-game winning streak, while Arkansas dropped a spot after a 2-2 week against Louisiana Tech and Eastern Illinois. Georgia Tech, now 11-0 on the season after sweeping Western Carolina, moved up three spots to No. 20.
Alabama joins the poll for the first time this season at No. 23 after a 3-1 showing at the Irish Classic in Cary, N.C. Coastal Carolina, meanwhile, drops out of the rankings after a 2-3 week pushed the Chanticleers to 6-5 on the season.
The staff of Baseball America determines the Top 25 rankings. Records indicated are through games of March 6 and do not include ties.
