Royals Announce Area Code Tryout Dates

The Kansas City Royals, whose 2015 team included All-Area Code Team player Austin Shenton (Bellingham (Wash.) High), announced their 2016 tryout schedule.

The Royals will be hosting the top players from the Northwest. The top players will be invited to play in the five-day Area Code Baseball Games Aug. 6-10 at Blair Field in Long Beach, Calif. The top underclass prospects from that region play in the Area Code Baseball Underclass Games Aug. 10-12.
