SEE IT: Hunter Greene Dominates Royals
GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Hunter Greene, whom the Reds chose second in this year’s draft, was on his game on Saturday morning. Facing the Royals, who got to him in his last outing on Monday, the fireballing righthander struck out seven in three innings.
He mixed a fastball with at time preposterous cutting action that sat between 98-101 mph with a low-90s changeup and a high-80s slider. Both offspeed pitches got swings and misses, and Royals hitters swung through all three pitches for third strikes during the course of his outing.
