Janas isn't exactly your profile first baseman. He just doesn't have the power to fit what some teams look for in a middle-of-the-order thumper. But a team who is willing to play a prolific hitter could do well to draft one of the Big 10's best hitters. Janas led the conference in batting in 2021 when he hit .391/.506/.449. He did a better job of hitting for power this year with a .361/.507/.570 season that included 11 doubles and six home runs. Janas is a lefty hitter who has excellent bat-to-ball skills. He only played first base for Illinois and in the Cape Cod League this year.
