A 6-foot-4, 180-pound infielder with a massively projectable frame, Lovich has exciting offensive tools now and the projection to dream on them improving in the future. With such a long frame and the long levers to go with it, Lovich’s righthanded swing can get a bit long at times, though that should improve with strength and his present bat speed is already solid. He has shown the ability to leverage the ball out of the park now and projects for more power in the future. A shortstop now, Lovich should outgrow the position as he fills out (though he has a narrow, slender frame), but has the arm strength to potentially stick on the left side of the infield. A below-average runner, Lovich is committed to Missouri where his older brother, Ross, currently plays.
