Obee is a 6-foot-2, 215-pound center fielder who has impressive athleticism, defensive skill in the outfield and raw power but who has struggled offensively throughout his college career. There’s a significant amount of chase and swing and miss in Obee’s game and he doesn’t project to be more than a bottom-of-the-order hitter who can occasionally leave the yard, though some scouts and teams might be encouraged by his performance through 40 games this spring.
