Bennett is a near top-of-the-scale runner who tied 2023 outfielder Max Clark for the second-best hand-timed 60-yard dash at last summer’s East Coast Pro with a 6.43-second time. Bennett had an up-and-down summer with the bat with plenty of swing and miss, but he has strength and some raw power in the tank from the left side. While there’s refinement needed with his swing, Bennett does have exciting upside as an elite athlete with power, speed and a potential center field profile. Bennett was previously committed to Illinois and is now committed to Kansas State.
