View Draft Report
Jasiak has been a reliable strike throwing starter for South Florida for three years, but his 2022 campaign was cut short after just five starts thanks to a season-ending injury. He posted a 1.32 ERA over 27.1 innings with 30 strikeouts (30.0 K%) and just two walks (2.0 BB%) this spring before his season was cut short. His strikeout and walk rates are quite strong throughout his entire career at South Florida, and Jasiak also impressed during a brief Cape Cod League stint in 2021, where he ranked as the No. 32 prospect in the league and posted a 2.89 ERA over 18.2 innings with Falmouth. Jasiak has no plus offering in his repertoire but has great feel for a four-pitch mix, including a fastball around 90 that touched 93, a short-breaking slider in the low 80s, an upper 70s curveball and a mid-80s changeup. His health is a question mark, but his deep pitch mix and track record of performance and strikes should keep him interesting for teams.
