A 6-foot-1, 175-pound righthander, Ford has a big arm and plenty of ahtleticism, but profiles as a reliever with an electric fastball in the 94-97 mph range and a firm slider in the upper-80s. After struggling with his command and allowing plenty of hits over his first two seasons with Nevada, Ford has figured things out this spring and posted a career-best, 2.76 ERA in 45.2 innings (all out of the bullpen), with 51 strikeouts (10 per nine) and 13 walks (2.56 per nine).
