Topps Announces Bowman Chrome Sapphire and Bowman’s Best For Presale This Week

‘Tis the season for Topps to release a number of high-profile sets featuring the game’s top prospects and rookies. The Bowman Draft release was already expected to arrive in early December, and now the baseball card giant has announced two more upcoming premium releases under their Bowman brand.

Topps has announced Bowman Chrome Sapphire will be available for presale beginning this Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 12 p.m. ET, followed by Bowman’s Best at noon on Thursday, Nov. 21. Both releases will be available while supplies last at Topps.com.

Actual release dates have not yet been announced. The Bowman Chrome Sapphire checklist can be found here.

Bowman Chrome Sapphire, which features the Bowman Chrome design with a limited-print sapphire parallel, will come in $279.99 boxes (or 10-box cases for $2,799). Each box features eight packs, each with four cards. Collectors are guaranteed at least one autograph and three colored parallels per box.

Bowman’s Best is an original set featuring a curated checklist from the wider Bowman releases. Hobby boxes will cost $299.99 (eight-box cases are $2,399.99). Each hobby box will have at least four autographs.

The Bowman’s Best checklist is not yet available, but images releases by Topps feature players such as Baseball America No. 1 prospect Roman Anthony, Paul Skenes, Walker Jenkins and Jackson Merrill.
