Davila is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound outfielder with an exciting toolset and athleticism. He’s a bit raw in terms of his overall hitting ability now, but scouts like his above-average speed and plus raw power that could become more accessible in game as he gets more at-bats and focuses more on baseball. He’s also a talented high school receiver who scouts believe could play football at the D-I level, though he’s going to focus on baseball in the future. Davila has impressive bat speed from the left side of the plate and does a nice job barreling up fastballs, though his pitch recognition against breaking stuff needs improvement. He is committed to Mississippi State.
