He played in the Cape Cod League the following summer where he struggled to replicate that same performance, but his solid toolset and a transition from corner outfield to center make him an intriguing prospect for MLB scouts. Trimble is a plus runner with average arm strength and average defense in the outfield and he’s also got a chance for above-average raw power. He has made strides cutting down his swing-and-miss each season with JMU, though ultimately he might be a below-average hitter.
