Jenkins is a 6-foot-4, 238-pound first baseman with an unorthodox setup at the plate but impressive in-game performance and under-the-hood batted ball data. He homered 21 times and slashed .362/.490/.749 as a sophomore in 2023 while cutting his strikeout rate and upping his walk rate. He has an upright stance with a low handset before taking a late stride and firing his hands through the zone with plenty of strength. If Jenkins maintains his production in 2024 it’s hard not to see him as a draft target on day two.
