A gold medal winner at the U-15 World Cup in 2022, Harrington is a bouncy, quick-twitch athlete with an exciting tool set. A triplet whose brother Hunter is a center fielder also committed to Stanford, Harrington has a high-waist, well-proportioned build with significant strength projection remaining. He’s a long-limbed hitter with some bigger moves in his swing, which can cause him to get disconnected and lose his timing on occasion, but when everything is synced up he has the look of a dynamic spark plug at the top of a lineup. He makes hard contact to all fields with a chance to grow into bigger power once he fills out his lean frame. A plus runner with long strides, Harrington has the potential to be a high stolen base threat. His explosiveness shows up at shortstop, where he has quick-twitch actions and the potential to be a plus defender. He has a nose for the ball, reacting well off the bat with a quick first step, excellent body control and a knack for making highlight reel plays from all angles. His strong arm could tick up even more as he fills out.
