  Track Record: Sanchez was considered one of the top players in this year’s international class. He signed with the Reds for $2.7 million, one of the top bonuses anyone in the class received.
  
  Scouting Report: Sanchez is a toolsy player whose skills may be even more impressive than his tools. He fits the Reds’ recent emphasis of signing polished hitters on the international market. He has a quick, compact lefthanded swing with excellent barrel control. He shows little issues hitting lefthanders, and he has solid pitch recognition. He will flash power potential for now, but eventually he’s expected to develop that into average power as well as he gets older and stronger. He’s an average runner, but he may be able to stick in center field thanks to excellent jumps and solid routes. If he has to move to a corner eventually, his plus arm will remain an asset.
  
  The Future: The Reds have done an excellent job of targeting solid hitters on the international market. Sanchez seems to be the next in the line. He’s slated to head to the Dominican Summer League to make his pro debut.
